Baccarat, the French crystal maker, occasionally creates new cocktails, with the obvious goal of showcasing their product. One of their lines, “Harmonie”, is their principal barware line, and this cocktail was named for, and showcases, that line. It’s decidedly easy, and over-the-top refreshing. If you like the coolness and taste of cucumber sandwiches, you’ll for sure like this boozy use of cucumber.
INGREDIENTS
1 Harmonie Tumbler (any double old fashioned tumbler will do, but why not Baccarat?)
3 Cucumber slices, plus 1 more for garnish
1-1/2 oz Vodka
3/4 oz St. Germaine or Domaine de Canton
1 oz Lemon juice, fresh squeezed
DIRECTIONS
Muddle 3 slices cucumber in a cocktail shaker.
Add the vodka, liqueur, and lemon juice.
Add the ice, and shake until very cold.
Place a large ice cube or sphere in the tumble.
Pour drink through a trainer over the ice in the tumbler.
Garnish with a cucumber slice before serving.
